Our exchange began (as far as I can tell) over a selection you posted from some Twin Cities paper. I began with, "as an aside." The purpose of this thread was to take some of the heat off the daily World Cup threads, and it has been a resounding success. As far as this lying BS, I'd suggest coming back to this thread in a day or two and re-reading our exchange. One of the reasons it went to crap so quickly is because you failed to understand that I was speaking of a general notion, and you were fixated on what you had or had not said. Please bear in mind that this is the Smoky Backroom, not a Debating Society.BS. Anyone who looks at the posts will see you TRIED to address my specific points. Now that you've completely failed--and completey lied--you're running away. It's now suddenly not a debating society when someone calls you on a blatant lie.
Oh, and the "I only started this thread to take the heat off" line is wearing thin, since you have attempted to engage so many posters here in debate.
Anyone who suspects soccer fans are a bunch of wusses only need look at your pathetic responses.
