We are starting to get the definition of what a daily kos really is. Even a weekly one sounds, well, scummy.

Lynch mobs in New Hampshire are learning the ropes...

One of the blocks to check must say, "Yes or no" "Please dehydrate me"

The new law updates state laws on advanced directives, which includes living wills and durable powers of attorney for health care. The law takes effect Jan. 1.

The directives allow people to dictate what care they wish to accept or reject in a medical emergency or if they're near death and can't speak for themselves. They could, for example, say whether they want to receive food and water through tubes if they're unable to swallow -- an issue that affected the brain-damaged Florida woman, Terri Schiavo, who died after the courts ordered her feeding tube removed based on her husband's assertion she would not want to live that way.
