Claus von Bulow eventually was acquitted, but obvious questions about his innocence will always remain. Amazingly enough, Sunny is alive and lovingly tended, more than a quarter century later. (You have to wonder if she could be awakened by zolpidem [brand name Ambien], the drug being found to be able to temporarily awaken patients in a persistent vegetative state (PVS), coma, or other brain-injured state.)
A bit of trivia: Many of us have actually seen Clarenden Court, Sunny von Bulow's family mansion in Newport, RI. It was the setting for the film HIGH SOCIETY (1956) - Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Celeste Holm, Satchmo.
