As I have said, many of these people in Hitler's inner circle have written books. Here a quote from "The Way In The Third Reich" by one by his personal adjutants, Fritz Wiedemann:
Hitler repeatedly in his speeches also called on God. He didnt do that from inner conviction, because he didnt know a God in the Christian sense. Christianity was a teaching of weakness for him and if he proceeded not even more sharply against the church, it was only because he didnt yet feel sufficiently strong to do it. -- p.87
