I know, I saw a picture of the HUGE pale yellow home that GVC lives in. I agree with you about covering up. Aruba has expended ALL of it's energy since the very beginning of this case in covering up. If the same amount of energy had been expended in doing a REAL investigation, the case would have been solved the first week. I'm sure of it. The fact is: Natalee Holloway left Carlos and Charlies with Joran Van der Sloot (her and Joran in the back seat) and Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe and was never seen or heard from again. PLUS, there is an FBI report that THEY saw blood in Deepak Kalpoe's car but since they were not allowed to do any of the investigating or collect evidence or send any evidence for testing, the car was thoroughly cleaned in the 9 days it took for the Aruban Law Enforcement to take it into custody and by the time they sent samples away (months later) it was "cleaning fluid and chocolate. That's how the investigation started and has followed the same bizarre path ever since.

Do you remember in the first week or so there was news of a "body"?, then whoops, "no body", then there was news of a "confession", then whoops, "no confession". Thank God Beth kept a detailed journal and their family hired much help to investigate and search. I have always been bothered by the fact that a search warrant was refused to be granted for the Van der Sloot property. Especially since they have that old cistern on it which was cemented over within 10 days. When Tim Miller politely requested of Paul VDS that he be allowed to use special equipment to search (deep penetrating search equipment) which would not disturb or mess up his property, he stated that "Paulus VDS went crazy"!!
