The importance of the find isn't that it's a fish that can breathe air, it's the nature of the bone structures that indicate it was a bridge between them and land animals today.

Humans didn't evolve from lungfish. But they did (likely) evolve from this thing or something similar.

I thought we evolved from monkeys? But then why are there still monkeys around?

We have fish today that walk on land.
