Makes one giddy just thinking about it. Why aren't continents throwing up bow waves in the ocean? Where is the wake? (OK, that's an Island in the Pacific.)
Well, you do get a crapload of earthquakes from the fastest plates...fastest is the Tonga Microplate...which is why you see so many earthquakes all the time near Tonga.
