so a little cynicism ain't that bad, extrapolation from small data sets is risky at best and the old garbage in garbage out applies..evolution explains many things but the basic questions are far removed from it's very low level of complexity..when we have new species to study they will have all come from ID by humans..gene splicing as an example ..otherwise all we have are scraps of fossils bits of this and that ..which we then expand to describe the whole animal..and we get pilt-down man and mixed species cranium reconstruction errors trying to find the ridiculous missing links

When you watch movies do you wonder what happened in the space between the static frames, too?

You know, a movie is just a series of static pictures and your mind fills in the details between what happens in the gap of 1/6 of a second between each frame.

I suppose you see no evidence of motion.
