But I will not take evolution as a fact because it is not.You are a clone, then?

Up to a point. When I was child all the museums and books protrayed T.Rex and his close relatives as Godzilla-type creatures, standing up, quite improbably on their hind legs. Now they are pictured as carrying themselves much more like birds, with tail out behind and neck and head forward. That's because new, better information has been discovered. Do you think there should be NO speculation on these issues until there is 100% certainty? The new, better information, and new, better speculation came from scientists doing science. That's the way science works. Nobody claims that science gets it 100% right the first time - it's a process of iteration, and moving closer to the truth. Can you think of a better approach to discovering natural truths?

" There is that word again. Evolution is just someone's idea, not a fact."
Evolution is both a fact and a theory. Your ignorance of scientific terminology and method is no excuse for your posts.
BTW, neither facts OR theories are ever proven 100%. Proof is for math and whiskey. Facts can be overturned by new data just as theories can. Laws can also be overturned. Science doesn't deal in absolute certainty.

LOL! Is that suppose to mean something to me? It does not and people can think what they like, that is what freedom is all about.

Nah, it's the Red Eft, or Newt...
The Eastern Newt (and its close relative the Striped Newt, N. perstriatus) are unique in that they undergo two metamorphoses. The first is the usual transformation from aquatic, gilled larva to an air-breathing terrestrial form. However in these two species there is a second, less striking metamorphosis to a breeding aquatic adult. The sexually immature land phase is usually called an Eft (left, top and middle, and below) while the aquatic adults are called Newts (bottom left). The Eastern Newt is divided into four subspecies. Adults reach lengths of nearly 5 inches, while Efts usually reach only about 3 inches. The Red-Spotted Newt gets its name from the many red spots that occur on its dorsal surface against the background color of brown to olive green in adults.

It's the all-too predictable reaction to any new piece of evidence that ringingly confirms the theory of evolution (yet again). I can't imagine why they're so upset. It's just 19th century science. Fossils are so passe, and every time you find a missing link you have two new ones, one on each side. Let's face it. The numbers are against us.

so a little cynicism ain't that bad, extrapolation from small data sets is risky at best and the old garbage in garbage out applies..evolution explains many things but the basic questions are far removed from it's very low level of complexity..when we have new species to study they will have all come from ID by humans..gene splicing as an example ..otherwise all we have are scraps of fossils bits of this and that ..which we then expand to describe the whole animal..and we get pilt-down man and mixed species cranium reconstruction errors trying to find the ridiculous missing links

"Oh please, you speak the typical scientific jargon that always leaves a way out when your theories are proven wrong."
You speak the typical anti-science, anti-evo jargon that always makes an excuse for your scientific illiteracy.
ALL theories in science are open to revision or even dismissal when new information becomes known. That is the strength of the method. Your calling evolution *just a theory* is only making you look that much more the fool. What ISN'T *just a theory* in science?

Who says theory trumps mythology? Well, the bible-thumpers clearly favor mythology; that's been demonstrated over and over again.

Impossible. Sexually reproducing species don't produce clones. Unless you're not telling us something? :)

The statement that humans evolved from "something similar" is a conclusion drawn from the physical evidence. There isn't any evidence of humans being evolved from anything like this..
therefore your statement is based on whimsical ideas and theories. You live in a "what if" fantasy world.
Where is this conclusive evidence? Dr. Linkey couldn't even find the link!
