I thought this was already pointed out to you, but what the President ACTUALLY said was "I'm against vigilantes in the United States of America." Shouldn't EVERY Chief Executive be against vigilantes?! He did not say: "I am against the Minuteman Project because they are vigilantes." Let me know if you can't tell the difference.

You're being obtuse. Read the article again and stop trying to parse words. A 3rd grader could understand that the President was asked specifically about the Minuteman Project and his response was that he didn't like those kinds of vigilante groups. He called us "vigilantes" then and just last week, in the misguided wording of his call for "civility" in the immigration debate, he made a terribly mistaken generalization and called border security advocates "anti-immigrant".

Read the question and answer - are you saying the Minuteman Project is "hunting migrant people along the border"?! Well, I gotta tell you, I'm against that too. We saw what happened with Dick Cheney and that was just (supposedly) accidental.

PRESIDENT BUSH: I'm against vigilantes in the United States of America. I'm for enforcing law in a rational way.

Bush is "for enforcing law".

In fact he likes the idea so much that he might even try it someday.
