Life comes from pasta, I am increasingly convinced. The only question is whether the pasta is best accompanied by Italian sausage, meat sauce, red clam sauce, or white clam sauce.

ID is all about emotional outburst.
"I am not a son of a monkey!"
"If monkeys evolved into humans, then why are there still monkeys around?"
"Just because I have a hairy back, it doesn't mean I'm a monkey!"
Okay, I made up the last one.

Pastafarians are known to live longer. The Mediterranean diet is good for the body and soul. Communing with FSM can add years to your life.

Pastafarians are known to live longer. Quality over quantity, anyway! If that last face-first swan dive has to be into a plate of food, let it have loads of carbs!

I was debating whether I should send the Discovery Institute a sizeable contribution. After reading this, I decided I should. Thanks. I am sure they will put it to good use on all of that "research" they do over there.

I am sure they [the Discovery Institute] will put it to good use on all of that "research" they do over there. But they do conduct research. For example, they search the country to find the dumbest school boards, so they can con them into doing something really stupid, like putting ID into the curriculum.

But what about "Natural Selection"? Isn't this invisible but all-powerful "force" behind everything? Certainly you have not lost your belief!

It appears they are very good at this too.

"(NOTE: Darwin's theses are titled "The Voyage of the Beagle", "The Origin of Species", "The Origin of Species - 6th Edition", and "The Descent of Man". Logically, when discussing Darwinian "anything" it might be wise to keep in mind what it was that interested him ~ and speciation is pretty much it. So, no new species, no Darwinian factoids eh?) "(NOTE: Don't bother me with discussions of what amounts to a bacterial immunological system. You still have the same bacteria after it "adjusts" to the latest new poison.)
What makes you believe we haven't observed speciation?
Remember, it is you who is bringing Darwin's ideas into the fray so we need to stick with Darwin's definition of 'species'. By Darwin's definition (and current Biology's definition) we have observed speciation many times, particularly in plants.

Read the latest Science News. It suggests that up until recently we missed some signals concerning species stability in plants.
