The whole thing is sick, brother.
Where did it begin that the police force get militarized?
The military is for killing people. Period.
Police are to bring in people for trial. Period.
The SWAT teams are a bunch of sterioded out junkies looking for an excuse to abuse people under color of authority. They have no business in a police force.
When the military is needed, the National Guard can be called in.
Society is getting sicker and sicker every day.
Give some hyped-up cops some fancy toys and they can't wait to use them on someone...anyone! Even innocent 80 year old people.
Never tweak until twoken to.
But, they said "Ooops".
When the house was ransacked, doors smashed in, people hogtied and in pure fear for their lives, and no contraband was found,,, They said "Oops"!
Or was it "Nevermind"?
(They never report this stuff. Was it Oops or Nevermind??)
And they all went home as fast as they got there, or faster.
Probably back as far as Prohibition when cops with revolvers were no match for the gangs with their Thompsons, so they got Thompsons too. That was understandable. But now they're using overwhelming force for just common individual criminals. Heck tanks are ok I guess as long as some guy has some "illegal" gun, drug, or whatever. So is burning down a compound full of women and children. And this old "oops, we got the wrong house" thing is getting kind of old too. Happens way to often. I'm beginning to wonder if the odds are more in favor of me having a burglar or a SWAT team with the wrong address invade my premises, and frankly I hope it's the burglar because I'd have a better chance of coming out alive.
