She was NEVER tested for survival or feeding, unless you count the murderers (er, paid-pro-death-doctors) hired to kill to her.
Please, she didn't choke on her own saliva. Those tests were performed in the early years, and there were caregivers who said she could suck from a washcloth. She may have still needed help, but she could swallow without choking. It all depends on how fast you deliver the liquid. There was also new stimulation therapy that was never even tried.
Keep trying to make yourself feel better about her death. Give yourself an award or something. Here, I'll give you a pat on the back: Terri's gone now. I'm sure you're smiling about that.
