I know that.. and there's nothing wrong with that. What was wrong was him permitting people on his website to make threats against the life of Michael Schiavo. Or do you think that was ok?

People may have said some pretty awful things about Michael Schiavo, but I feel fairly sure that if there were actual threats made to Michael's life, that JimRob would have heard from the "authorities" or the poster would have been suspended or banned completely. No way would JimRob risk FR for a few stupid comments. This is his baby!
I did not see any overt threats, and lots of posts got deleted. "I will repay, saith the Lord" (for believers only). It is only for the courts of the land to mete out justice, injustice in this case imo. We are not supposed to take it into our own hands.
I do not believe JimRob would knowingly condone any death threats to anyone.
Threats are never OK. Are you sure those posts are still up?
If you're going to accuse Jim of allowing death threats to be posted on Free Republic, you should supply links to those posts, and ping the person you're accusing.
