That's a lie. They have nothing to do with each other. Evolution was around as a scientific theory for over a hundred years before the Big Bang was widely accepted. Darwin never used it, because in his day the Big Bang had not even been conceived of. How can the Big Bang be important for evolutionary theory if the BB theory wasn't even around when the ToE was formulated?
