Relativity is a theory as well, but the effects it suggests have been proven time and again, with highly rare/specialized exceptions.

Also, please remember that ID fails in two major areas: 1) assuming God's existence and 2) assuming something is complex beyond human understanding.

Neither is testable, neither can be proven. Therefor, huff and puff all you want, you'll never see it as science.

A theory is a theory...unproven on the macro, shown to apply in a specific environemnt. It implies a higher law covering the macro.

Irrespective, my point stands. No huffing or puffing about it. Just fact. A theory is, by definition, unproven. No amount of rationalization will change that until the proof is in.
