ID is a criticism of evolution.
Even a well-founded criticism of a theory isn't a theory in itself. ID, however, is a grab-bag of very poorly founded attempts to deny evolution by any possible means.
It has nothing to teach us which is both true and worthwhile. There is no attempt in ID to learn the unknown. Rather, it is an exercise in unlearning the known.
