"Because evolution is the only [scientificly] proven "theory" about the existence ofthe universe."

Darwin is still a theory. It is not scientific fact. There are major gaps in the fossil record. Which record is the foundation of the theory. Therefore a fact is that gaps exist. Are there other explanations that contain gaps? Yes, Intelligent Design. So why does one find favor and the other is found faulty?

Again, Darwin's theory has major flaws. Do you know how many days are devoted to it in Dover science classes versus the proposed addition of the Intelligent Design curriculum? If you knew you would correct your uninformed statements.

I corrected it in a later thread. Is there a way to correct the original? It was meant to be presented as sarcasm.

Darwin is still a theory.

So is gravity.

There are major gaps in the fossil record.

There are known inconsistencies between relativity and quantum mechanics. Shall we throw them out and just decide that God makes everything move?

Are there other explanations that contain gaps? Yes, Intelligent Design.

And Zeus, Xenu, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and a few thousand others. How come ID is the preferred "theory"?

So why does one find favor and the other is found faulty?

Because there's lots of evidence to support one and none to support the others.
