They should also believe the evidence of the physical Creation that indicates the world is billions of years old and that life evolved. Anything else is a blasphemy against His Creation.

go back and reread the scriptures, If you trace the time lines, the world is only about 17000 years old, who cares about carbon dating? and where is the proof of evolution?, there is none, and carbon dating is flawed in its method. Anything that elevates the temperature of any substance creates carbon, therefore anything caught in a volcano, or fire, or anything else that generates a tremendous amount of heat would throw off carbon dating. Besides there is no constant that scientist can use, conclusively knowing that it's thousands of years old.
