By explaining human origins without the *need* for "God" or any other Intelligent Being, Darwin's theory paved the way for a godless government in which a particular man, Adolf Hitler, took on the role of God. if you couldn't figure that out for yourself, I doubt you can reason your way out of a wet paper bag.

If Christians were still doing that in the name of Christianity, and other Christians were not comdemning them, then yes, it obviously would be an indictment of Christianity.
