Intelligent Design Might Be Meeting Its Maker

TO read the headlines, intelligent design as a challenge to evolution seems to be building momentum.
...
Behind the headlines, however, intelligent design as a field of inquiry is failing to gain the traction its supporters had hoped for. It has gained little support among the academics who should have been its natural allies. And if the intelligent design proponents lose the case in Dover, there could be serious consequences for the movement's credibility.
On college campuses, the movement's theorists are academic pariahs, publicly denounced by their own colleagues. Design proponents have published few papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Gaps in the theory exist for which there is no evidence
those 4 paragraphs and the kids walk away from evo, no kids being brainwashed, no evo five years from now

Name the names of creationists? I think you can do that with a simple google search.

and what was their constant when testing radiometric dating?
If you had read the link you would not have to ask this question. You are fundamentally dishonest for refusing to accept information given to you and then denying that you have received any information. You are, without question, a shameless liar.
Then again, you're a creationist so I could have safely guessed that much anyway.

Any demented kookball cultist of the cosmo-evo evo-cosmo flying spaghetti monster calling you a liar is about as ubiquitous and insignificant as a eight month old baby crapping its diaper.

Only those in denial would not admit that some of it is about the money.
Or of course the alternative to denial.

ROFL I called your bluff, and you could not meet the challenge. You are the one who made up the lie. The burden of proof is on you.

The evos and their ACLU friends are really a phoney bunch if they won't even allow a mere 4-pargraph statement to be read.
(P.S. Note to any lib reading this post. Phoney is spelled two ways.)

Almost all creationists deny the proper definition of vestigial. I said that only creationists think vestigial means nonfunctional. You said, *Name names!*. Well, think of any creationist you know of; they most likely also think that vestigial means nonfunctional. If I must name names, OK, Duane Gish and Henry Morris. They think that vestigial means nonfunctional. They are wrong. You are in over your head.

you knuckle dragging, mouth breathing, bottom feeder, I apologize, I stand corrected you are all the proof I need of evolution, or in this case maybe it's reverse evo. At any rate, you have no case to call me a liar, The very science you stand on is supported by scientific method, in which case to prove anything, there must be a constant, and a variable, and in that case the case can only be proved as far as the constant can be monitored, in this case, there is no way to have a constant that is millions of years old, but that isn't even the case we were discussing. The topic was evo, in which, even reading your article, I find no reason to change my mind. In fact, I am resolve as to my stance, and If you don't like it, then you have a problem. You remind me of a kindergartner who wants to fight, just because someone holds a different view. A theory is just that a theory, and unless the schools are allowed to present other options, then it is not presented as a true theory. I have nothing else to say to you, If you can show no respect then you shall no longer get any. Have a nice life, .. or don't I don't care.

you knuckle dragging, mouth breathing, bottom feeder, I apologize,
Why do creationists resort to insults when they are proven wrong? Why can creationists never admit that they were mistaken over one single detail?
A theory is just that a theory,
A theory is an explanation for observed events that has withstood rigourous testing and experimentation. That you don't know thos demonstrates that you are so fundamentally ignorant of how science works that you carry no credibility in this discussion.
and unless the schools are allowed to present other options, then it is not presented as a true theory.
Evolution is the only explanation for the diversity of life on earth that qualifies as a scientific theory. To suggest otherwise means that you are either ignorant or lying. Given that you have had multiple people explain the situation to you, it is clear that you are lying. Nothing you say can be trusted.
I have nothing else to say to you,
And once again the creationist, rather than admit his mistakes, tosses out a bunch of insults and runs away like a coward.

Creationists frequently resort to dictionary games to "prove" that scientists didn't mean what they say that they mean. I've seen it used for the word "theory" and I saw one creationist go through an extremely convoluted dictionary game to "prove" that evolution is a "religion" just like Christianity.

And I've seen evos try to say that a theory is a fact.
