TO read the headlines, intelligent design as a challenge to evolution seems to be building momentum.
...
Behind the headlines, however, intelligent design as a field of inquiry is failing to gain the traction its supporters had hoped for. It has gained little support among the academics who should have been its natural allies. And if the intelligent design proponents lose the case in Dover, there could be serious consequences for the movement's credibility.
On college campuses, the movement's theorists are academic pariahs, publicly denounced by their own colleagues. Design proponents have published few papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

It's hard for us logical folks to debate with the textbook memorization crowd, but aren't they lucky that we spend a little time with them? :)

Five evos against two IDers just to make it fair.
The evo scientific community has this here consensus that evolution is the only explanation, but they STILL haven't proved their theory.
It's so difficult to be a logical person these days (sigh).

Which is it, or maybe there are more choices?

No scientific theory has ever been proved. Evolution is in good company.

Such irony. :)

Well, it seemed on par with we ARE apes. :) LOL!
This food fight I mean debate aside, I think we have agreement and common interests on many other areas.
Like your posts on 'checkpoints' and 'pilot reports' I know of the amateur rocketry you speak of and I am surprised it is even still out there after 9-11. When I was familiar with amateur rocketry you could by motors thru the mail that would go to 20K'

Nope - no scattershot debates. Pick your favorite from those pages - or somewhere else, if you like - present it, and we'll go from there. One argument at a time.

I noticed you never responded to MY critique (post 579) of one of your links. Your link was a joke. Why should the good Senator answer you when don't even bother to acknowledge our critiques?

If you wish to believe you came from a drip and evolved from an ape then so be it but don't push your ideas onto me. :) I didn't accept the idea of evolution before I was 8 either.

They certainly are lucky.
But its uncomfortable being on all four all the time, and imitating an ape for the sake of argument. And having 2/3ds of my brain tied up is dam uncomfortable too.

But its uncomfortable being on all four all the time You know the wolf is on life support.
But the Coyote is doing just fine, raiding the Beverly Hills back yards, dining on household pets. No wonder the local Indians liked the Coyote better!
