Aruban Police Commissioner Thinks Missing Teen May Be Inside Fish Trap

HOUSTON -- The founder of Texas EquuSearch said he and a team of divers from Florida will travel to Aruba after investigators there revealed they might know where to find the body of a missing Alabama teen, KPRC Local 2 reports.

Natalee Holloway disappeared in June while on a high school class trip to Aruba. She has not been seen since.

On Friday, EquuSearch founder Tim Miller and a deepwater search team from Florida will travel back to Aruba to search an area three to five miles off the island's coast that is between 800 to 1,000 feet deep.

Miller told KPRC Local 2 that Aruba's police commissioner told him that he feels Holloway might be inside a fish trap dropped deep into the water.

"The night she disappeared is the same night a fisherman's hut got broken into and a huge fish trap got stolen. Some big knives got stolen, and none of it has been found since," Miller said.

The cage the commissioner referred to is similar a crab trap people could buy at a hardware store.

"If she is, in fact, in that huge fish-trap like we think there is a possibility, I am optimistic that the equipment we've got will be bringing Natalee back," Miller said.

The founder of the volunteer search-and-rescue organization told KPRC Local 2 that he does not believe Holloway ever left Aruba.

"Our whole goal is none other than to bring Natalee Holloway home," Miller said. "It's too early to just say it's over with. There are still some things to do."

Miller told KPRC Local 2 that the last time he was in Aruba, he was threatened with arrest because he was working without a permit. He said he told authorities that he wasn't working for anyone and that he was a volunteer.

Good observation. I noticed that it is always mentioned in regards to an unresolved, botched case too. It will FOREVER connect Aruba and Natalee Holloway and BAD Law Enforcement.

It's amazing that anybody connected with the Holloway Twitty's or Beth Twitty get "threatened with arrest" everytime they try to use new methods and equipment to find Natalee!!! It appears that the "Official Plan" has ALWAYS been that Natalee's body would NEVER be found.

Notice how Aruba ALWAYS throws up a road block of some kind every time someone actually wants to do some "real" investigating??? They are so transparent it makes me literally sick.

Now that papa slooter knows TES is coming back with sonar to search deep waters, he will probalby work thru his new employer to file some sort of legal challenge against TES to keep them and the equipment off the island.

Just a thought, but could Aruba stop them from going to Curacoa and taking a boat from that direction to the spot they want to search. They wouldn't be touching Aruban soil!!

Therefore, in the comparison I want to make between what Charles Croes said to Greta when she interviewed him last June, and what he reportedly told the Vanity Fair reporter, I cannot show you the text of how he referred to Natalee in that interview, and how he feels about Beth now. Here is what he said to Greta last June:

"There are issues in this case that can go beyond the obvious in their implications."

"It will take time for all the information regarding this lovely child to come out."

"Some of it will be hard to handle some of it will be expected ..."

"In my opinion, this issue has far reaching implications for all those involved. I wish us all strength."

and scroll down 7 paragraphs to see what Charles Croes is reported to have said. He now refers to Natalee as that girl, Natalee (sound familier??), and he wishes she had stayed home. Where is his previous reference to Natalee as "this lovely child"? Where did that opinion go to in the ensuing 7 months. He now thinks no one would care is Natalee is found alive, and that the kid is just not worth the trouble, all according to VF.

Boy, what a disillusionment this has been in my estimation of Charles Croes. He has plummeted in my esteem. His sense of justice for Natalee and her family seems to be far outweighed by the power of the almighty tourist dollar in his two Aruban businesses, cell phone store at the airport and upscale clothing store in tourist mall near where the cruise ships dock.

Then to add insult to injury, in the 27th paragraph, he refers to a cell-phone call made to an American number on that fateful night as an accidental call to a friend, and dismisses it from further consideration.

These comments are the straw that broke the CC back for me.

This time, I will not post a picture of him because he is no longer worth the effort, IMO.

Excellent idea, CO. We will have to keep watch and get in contact with TES and Dave and make that suggestion, if TES is stopped from bringing their equipment to Aruba.

Charles Croes is just ANOTHER ONE OF THEM!! Sheba, he did NOTHING for me, right from the beginning. Didn't trust the man then, and certainly don't trust him now. They are ALL scum. ALL of them. I would hope that Miller et al take a Close look at that new/fresh coffin-sized "anchor" that was discovered not far offshore a couple of months back.......its status was never established, so far as I knew, and the cleanliness of it (lacking any barnacles, seamoss, limpets, or other seagrowth) proves it is NOT an old one. (someone here posted a pic or two and we discussed it a little when it was found), IIRC, it was not TES divers, but some other group......I think the ones that had slick equipment but the aruban LE refused to put in a request for necessary assistance of our Navy.

Yes, because Aruba does NOT control the open waters. Where there's a will there's a way. They might need to be armed however. They could take a SWAT team or a special ops team with them.

I heard Spectre bite off Kennedy's head about "how many votes we will have in this committee"!! He was MAD too. It was kind of nice to see Spectre flare up at Kennedy. That guy has needed putting in his place for eons now.

Also, apparently Mrs. Alito left the hearings in tears today. Lindsay Graham apologized for the treatment of some of the Committee members towards her husband and even HE choked up while apologizing.
