Amen! I wish I had the time and money - I'd start an American Adventure travel agency and book trips like "jazz weekend in Chicago" and "camp at Mt. Rushmore" and "discover New Mexico" etc. etc.
The area I live in in B.C. gets a LOT of American tourists. It's a valley full of cottage wineries and the scenery is beautiful. We are actually referred to as Napa North. I have met many lovely American people vacationing here.
