Too much TV and too many movies there, Spanky Girl. Most lawyers sit sipping on lukewarm coffee, poring over stale documents and reviewing old court cases and precedents. And even the litigators are only feeling risk vicariously through clients (who are taking the real risk). You may be correct, but to me, old Sweatin' Buckets looks very dull.
That said, I think he was trying to jumpstart a career representing Michael Posner and his Chicago Outfit. I remember somewhere upthread that he (Buckets) recently made a trip to Miami (and the distinct impression was that it had to do with porn films).
Can I jump in on this one? As far as I am concerned, Paulus and Anita are nothing more than your typical 'enlightened' Eurotrash couple who give free rein to their children while setting poor examples themselves. I have no doubt whatsoever that both parents are aware of what Joran has done...they just don't think he should be punished for it. They are able to 'justify' non-punishment because the punishment of their 'child' will not bring another's child back. Remember...the Dutch are 'enlightened'. Americans, as seen by the Dutch...why, we are foolish cowboys (sarcasm on) who just can't wait for some romantic interlude away from home with some Euro 'sporter' like Joran.(/sarcasm off) Sheesh...those people are disgusting.
