This recent stuff of Helen (LeJuez) trying to justify the crap that Dompig is demanding that Beth do in order to get an "audience" with him was pathetic. There is no justification for the questions he's asking about the trust fund.

From Greta: VAN SUSTEREN: Here's what I don't get. This is supposed to be an investigation looking for Natalee. The series of questions that were posed to Beth Holloway Twitty today at the police station were how she may have spent money. Are they now trying to investigate her?

LEJUEZ: Not really. I did not get that impression. The impression I got, that there might be money involved in this case. Who had that money involved? And I cannot give more information at this time because I do not want to spoil this part of the investigation, but there might have been other forces besides the three boys. There might be something more to look at. That is the impression I got during the investigation. Remember, I have been part of investigation teams before, have been a prosecutor myself.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right. Here are some other questions. She was asked if she, Beth Holloway Twitty, has a business in Venezuela (search), in Colombia (search), and she was also asked about a trust fund that was put in place for Natalee, the money that was put into it, and who paid for Equusearch (search).

LEJUEZ: That is correct. Venezuela and Colombia, that's because if you have enemies and you have — because there have been rumors. So if you have business with these kind of countries, you might have — you might have enemies and they might have done something to Natalee because they were enemies of the family. That is why Venezuela and Colombia came into the picture or something may have happened to Natalee with regard to that.

With regard to the Natalee fund and who paid for some things, that's correct. I would say it's not of our business, anything what happens with the funds. But then on the other side, they want to exclude every possibility that something might go wrong. They really didn't go too deep in that. They asked questions, and I believe Mr. Twitty answered them very correctly.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right. One last question to you. I've actually talked to Beth Holloway. She switched planes tonight as she was headed back to the United States. And what she told me was that she wanted to talk to the chief deputy, Dompig, but that first that they required her to answer questions, and that once she answered these questions, if they were satisfied with her answers, then she would have a chance to talk to the chief deputy at some point. Is that your understanding?

LEJUEZ: My understanding is that they would not talk to Mrs. Twitty unless she would answer questions. These questions were related to the investigation. I believe myself that maybe some feelings have been hurt, you know, from this side. And I prefer to look at it, we need harmony. We need peace. We need to solve this. That is what Aruba has to do, and that is what I stand for. Get a resolution in this case.

I don't doubt for a minute that you're correct about what is going to happen. The Judge will give him back pay, his old job back, the opportunity to keep it in '06, and a nice financial settlement for his "false" arrest and the embarrassment he's suffered to his "good" name. Next will come the appeal to clear Joran which will be dittoed.

One thing that struck me was Dave saying he was hit up twice for money from ALE. The first time was his first day on the island, June 1. Jacobs asked how much money he had. Dave says he was asked just last week how much money he had and how much longer was he going to search.

Ted Williams once again stuck his foot in a pile of stink. He is against a boycott of Aruba. Well, okay. So his solution is to have the FBI go to Aruba and help with the investigation. For someone pontificating on national tv he ought to know what he's talking about, but he doesn't. He spoke as if there hasn't been any effort on part of the FBI with that effort blocked by ALE every step of the way. Just so simple he seemed to think. I wonder what his next solution will be when he finally gets up to speed on the facts? Maybe Ted can learn to say 'Boycott Aruba.'

It's an attempt to smear her, to infuriate the native Arubans and plant the idea that she's profited from her daughter's disappearance, and to make it harder for her to return to Aruba again. I also think they're trying to guage how much more of her family searching for her they are going to have to put up with. If people have donated $ 100,000, that would not last all that long. If it's a million, then they know there is no end in sight to how much searching and traveling to Aruba the family can afford to do. That's my guess on what they are up to.

That is exactly the question ALE just recently asked Dave along with how much money he had. The also told him the investigation of most cases would have ended long ago. It's the glare of the media cameras that makes Aruba react. Turn them off and it's back to business as usual and this case will be damned.

Aruban Prosecutors to Question More People in Case of Missing Alabama Teen

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) - Aruban prosecutors said Friday they have new witnesses and leads into the disappearance of a U.S. teen who vanished on a school trip to the Dutch Caribbean island more than five months ago.

Natalee Holloway, then 18, was last seen early on May 30 leaving a bar with Dutch national Joran van der Sloot and Surinamese brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. They were arrested on June 9 but released after a court ruled there was not enough evidence to hold them.

The Aruban prosecutors office said it was conducting new interviews of witnesses in the disappearance.

"From this review the team has concluded that there are several aspects that need more attention," the prosecutor's office said in a statement. "There are people living in the United States of America who have to be interviewed again."

Prosecutors did not provide details about any new developments and did not return telephone calls seeking comment.

The report of new interviews came after the missing teen's mother, Beth Holloway Twitty, visited Aruba this week and alleged that three law enforcement officials did not take the investigation seriously in the crucial early stages. She demanded the three be removed from the case.

Twitty, who left Aruba Thursday, told reporters she wanted to meet with prosecutors and police to discuss a taped interview in which Deepak Kalpoe, one of the brothers, allegedly says all three had sex with Holloway, who would have turned 19 last month.

Twitty said she was "disheartened" with the response of Police Chief Gerald Dompig, Chief Prosecutor Karin Jansen and Detective Dennis Jacobs to the disappearance of her daughter.

"They have placed barriers to the advancement of the investigation," Twitty said. "They should be replaced."

Somewhere along the way I read that Beth said they had collected $110,000 and had just spent $20,000 on this last search effort.

Just remembered one more thing Dave said. There is a witness Dave and friends have been watching and he is getting nervous. Dave pleaded with Dompig to question this witness now while the time was right. As of now, that has not been done. Dave would not reveal who this witness is for fear of jeopardizing this oppritunity.

Also, they recieved a response this afternoon to their letter. It was an "ah gee, we don't have the authority to do this...it's up to the Dutch...so we won't be removing anyone from this case. Aruba passed the buck.

It appears to me after watching Greta tonight and listening to Dave Holloway that not only will the Minister of Justice not honor that request but Holland is also passing the buck. Same of crap - NOBODY has the authority to interfere with one of their other entities!! Horse maneur. I seriously pray that the State Department will become involved. I find this no different in principle than when the American's were being held hostage by Iran. It took another country and a clandestine agreement to free the hostages.

There ARE ways to deal with this SLAP IN YOUR FACE CORRUPTION. Does anybody care enough about the Holloway/Twitty (including Natalee) Salt of the earth American citizens who are being held hostage. Does anyone care enough to free them? There are ways in addition to a 100% National Boycott.

Press Release from Prosecutors Office in Aruba
Looks like another Friday late afternoon presser out of The Aruban Prosecutors office.

"Oranjestad: In this press release, the Public Prosecutor’s Office provides an update of the investigation into the disappearance of Natalee Holloway."

"At this time the investigative team, which consists of police agents from the Aruban Police Force under guidance of the prosecutor in charge of this case, is at work in several areas of the criminal investigation into the disappearance of miss Holloway last May of this year. In the first place the team is busy investigating aspects and leads that have not been investigated yet."

"The investigative team is also interviewing new witnesses and witnesses who have already been interviewed in this case are being interviewed again. Yesterday for instance, members of the police team interviewed the mother of the missing Miss Holloway. She was on the island for a couple of days."

"Besides investigating new leads or leads that have not been investigated yet and interviewing new witnesses and witnesses who have already been interviewed the team is reviewing the whole investigation from the start until now. From this review the team has concluded that there are several aspects that need more attention, for instance there are people living in the United States of America who have to be interviewed again, this time more profoundly. To realize this, the Public Prosecutor’s Office has petitioned the United States of America for legal assistance. When there is more information about this request that can be made public, the Public Prosecutor’s Office will make this information public."


"The last development that will be highlighted in this press release regards the tapes of the Dr. Phil show. During this show a couple of weeks ago a tape was shown in which one suspect in the case of the disappearance of miss Holloway makes declarations about the case on camera to a private investigator. After requesting and receiving these tapes from the United States of America the tapes were sent to the Dutch Forensic Institute in Holland for further testing. The results of these tests are not known yet."

I guess this would be their response to the complaints in the families five page letter asking for all to be taken off the case. Funny, no where in the above presser does it say questioning the three suspects or Paul Van der Sloot.

Pepper I know that goes on HOWEVER in this case simply because of the fact that we know that Natalee was drugged, set up to be raped and in the process murdered by Van der Sloot. Human Blood was in the Kalpoe car on the seat and on the ceiling. That indicates VIOLENCE to me. It is not even denied that these three gang raped her and that she was in and out of consciousness. For all we know she was strangled or died from the effects of the drug.

Natalee is dead and has been since May 31st. Natalee attempted to fight obviously or there wouldn't have been the blood. All the rest has been the institution and MAINTANCE of a complete COVER UP and possibly assistance by the so called police in that cover up. They have clearly destroyed forensic evidence or they have stuck it away somewhere with no intention of ever testing it.

The shoulder bone found on the beach with human flesh still on it is still, to this day, not tested. Even if they SAY they have or will send to their lab in Holland you can be sure it will come back as a donkey's Ass bone. Normal procedures are NOT going to work here.

Great idea deetch. NO dealings with Aruba PERIOD except through United States Governmental Agencies such as the State Department, the tourism department, the trade and commerce department, EVERYTHING possible.

As I have stated before, I'd like to see the Dutch Ambassador asked to DEAL with his country or LEAVE the United States. What possibly does he have to offer the US on behalf of the Netherworld?

Speaking of hostages, I recently read "Flight of Eagles", the book about Ross Perot getting a retired Ranger colonel to lead a team of his EDS employees to rescue a couple of his employees that had been imprisoned by Iran. It's an amazing story. It shows what can happen to people when imprisoned in a foreign country.

Placed barriers??? They have done that all along. Think about it - the three places that the ALE ABSOLUTELY and OBVIOUSLY Interfered with were the two places on the VDS property - under the newly poured cement (within days of this happening) and the old abandoned well on the property, and last but not least, the dump!!

The fact that Natalee was known to be at the VDS residence at 1:40 am May 31st and not being permitted to get a warrant for the property - STINKS. Then Jossy Mansur's son Eduardo along with others dug out a certain place in the dump to which they had been directed and when they had excavated down to the place where the newspapers were dated May 26th, overnight the ENTIRE HUGE hole had been filled back in!! THEN they were refused another PERMIT to go back and re-excavate!! That also STINKS.

When Tim Miller asked Paulus VDS if Equsearch could search the well and the cement using equipment that wouldn't require digging up the cement, Tim stated "Paulus VDS went crazy"!!

Did you see Rita Cosby's show tonight? That fellow Mammana from Philadelphia made some not-so-veiled threats against the Three Pigs--Joran and the Kalpoes. He said he would advise them to watch their backs, since many people do not like them. AND --he is going to spearhead the boycott of Aruba with a big campaign, within the next ten days.

This guy is a multimillionaire and a crusader for justice. Beth has finally found a champion who means what he says, and who has the connections and the money to bankrupt Aruba.

Those damn Arubans will be very, very sorry for the way they treated Beth Twitty this week.

They don't want to nor are they going to, talk to this "witness". Instead they are trying to direct culpability in this case to Natalee's travelling companions which makes NO sense whatsoever. Another stall, another diversion. They will NEVER stop doing this. Not only should there be a COMPLETE boycott, but the Holloway/Twitty's through a United States qualified INTERNATIONAL Attorney, SUE Aruba for damages. The Kingdom of the Netherlands (or whatever it's called legally) should be joined to the suit as a Defendant.

WHAT is it that the United States buys from Holland? How much aid is given to them every year? How about no more United States military protection. I think the US should pull out of everywhere in Europe anyway. Obviously the Netherlands don't appreciate the protection they have sat under any more than France and Germany have.
