She wanted us to consider the whole picture, among other things. When someone who has been to hell and back, still dealing with the consequences of a bullet to her own son's head, I get a grip and listen up. If she can still be charitable and display compassion for all the people involved in this saga, then I can as well.
Calling it psychobabble with all she's still going through is just plain cold hearted. Walk in this woman's shoes, then see if ya'll are big enough to still be objective.

Charity and compassion are due to the Holloways. The van Sloots who have obstructed, lied, refused to tell what they know are due contempt.
To state that both sides deserve compassion is foolish. I am walking in Nat Holloways mother's shoes and for me that is enough to know that all involved are not morally equivalent or due compassion.

*My person sympathies lie with the Holloway's and Twitty's. The VDS's are enablers (a psychobabble term). Since we're all accustomed to putting ourselves in the shoes of the main parties, I might add, that were I JVDS's mother, I'd have the truth out of him no matter what. AND, I'd make him tell the same to the police, no matter what.
The behavior of the VDS's has been dispicable. I recall sort of praising them for talking with Beth and Greta for 90 minutes, but that was BEFORE I learned about PVDS's admonition (sage advice) to the boys.
