Charles - His wife? (yellow shirt) - Daughter (white shirt?) - Grandson ?
thanks kcat.
I think I remember in the first days of this horrible tragedy on the Aruba message boards when they allowed discussions about Natalee people were thanking and asking "Charles" or were saying "ask Charles". May be the same guy.
I imagine that they are thinking I wish this bunch of yahoo cowboys would get the hell off our island, lol.
While I enjoyed Europe some years ago, I would never want to live among those anal retentives. Give me a cowboy any day.
But I'm not positive the brothers knew about it, since they left Joran alone with her and received a message saying "I made it home". He could have stayed on the beach with Natalee, or brought her to his apt.
I think he had to message them, because they were supposed to pick him and Natalee up after they made out.
But she died, and Joran set his plan of deception going, starting with his text message to the one who was standing by to drive them back to the hotel.

There are lots of errors in the transcript...
Croes said a mutual friend (not major)
Now on to your question...
C. CROES: After that, we spoke a while. And then we left that location with the intention of going to the Holiday Inn to continue meeting. On the way there, a young man and I were sitting in my car. And on the way there, instinctively, I wanted to go to drive off, pull over to the cabana (he said LUCKABANA sp?) area, just to look to see if perhaps she was there.
VAN SUSTEREN: Then where did you go?
C. CROES: Then we continued on track over to the Holiday Inn. And we were supposed to turn over to go into the Holiday Inn. And I had made a decision not to and went straight ahead. And going straight ahead, I made another decision to go to the ARASHI beach area.
Arashi Beach is at the California Lighthouse
Thanks for all your hard work!
no problem ;-)
I believe he was referring to the hotel, La Cabana.
Thanks for that.
Thanks Lizarde.

it came out sounding like LUCK-A-BANA (as one word) not La Cabana, but he might have meant La Cabana.
Time to look at the maps...!
