It appears that there's an assumption that is flawed in your last line.
Non Scriptural input from Holy Spirit is NOT CONSIDERED ROUTINELY AND ON IT'S FACE--PARTICULARLY WITHOUT CONFIRMATION FROM A LOCAL BODY OF BELIEVERS--TO BE INERRANT/INFALLIBLE.
The Canon was decided on how? By 300 years of use and pondering and confirmation by a host of congregations who met and decided on a particular list of texts. That's not really that different from I Cor 14's MANUAL about discerning words from The Lord.
Certainly hearers can have their own agenda and flawed hearing. They can also hear well but garble it up in transmitting it to others. And, sometimes, even congregations can have biases and group think which distort their discernment and confirmations of Holy Spirit breathed inputs.
To say that a word from The Lord is potentially fallible is not the same thing as saying that it IS fallible.
I haven't examined the posts in a rigorous nit picky discerning way looking for the tiniest error. My reading of them was that they were essentially error free. I believe them more than sufficiently error free to be valuable exhortations to me.
They are Biblical. They are edifying. They strengthen my walk with God. They resonate in my spirit and are consistent with my walk with God and my observations. The fruit of them is consistent with Holy Spirit's doing. etc. etc. etc. That's enough for me.
Nice to meet you. Because I am very curious and perhaps hard of understanding, I'd appreciate it if you could pin point the line of which you were talking about or specify what in the text alarmed you as a chaplan(I think you said you were). My heart tells me that I am not trying to stir up trouble,but out of curiosity I'd like to know. Perhaps your experience as a Chaplan could explain your view. Did you go to Bible college or something?
