I never get this philosophy either. Good Lord don't sit the election out, stomping your feet like a 4 YO. Push some real conservatives. Look at the spineless ones inhabiting the house now.

Liberalism may be a mental illness, but it cannot list "shy" among its numerous faults. Bush has to have some support from Congress to get conservative things done. If you absolutely can't support Bush over this issue, then find some local conservative firebrand and back him to the hilt. Then you'll be motivated to vote, then you'll see the choice between the GOP and the DNC on the top ballot, then you'll do the right thing.

Sometimes you have to one step back to make any progress. The GOP will never take immmigration or spending issues seriously as long as they keep getting elected.
