Is she a scheduler? Is she a staff assistant? Is she a Legislative Assitant? No one really knows, but one thing's for certain, her name is Vanessa Griddine, and she gets paid more than the D.C. Legislative Director and Chief of staff. All of these people are paid by the tax payers of the United States, at the discretion of Member of Congress Alcee L. Hastings.
Perhaps Alcee Hastings doesn't want the Ethics Committee to work after all...
What discourages me about Alcee Hastings is the fact that he continues to find new ways to make me want to vomit.
This is one of the vilest men on Earth, yet he continues to get reelected no matter how corruptly he acts.
His impeachment from the federal bench resulted from a lengthy drug investigation in which Hastings was a player.
I can't remember why he slipped the criminal drug conviction, but he can't be a judge anymore, only a US congressman. 8-)
