Let's assume for a moment that Lincoln was homosexual ( a big assumption). We also know from the way he lived, that he did not want this to be common knowledge. He married and fathered children, being the most obvious evidence.

Does the right of a person to maintain his privacy not take precedence over the desire of these people to bring this information forward?
