I haven't taken FR seriously for years. I think the message in all this madness is meant for many of you good hearted folks who waste way too much of your time here. I know ... you thought you were doing something ... helping to make a difference. You weren't.

You were hanging out with a bunch of superficial news junkies addicted to this chat board. Now you know that at least half of the regulars on FR are vicious posers ready willing and able to sling hate with the worst of them and on the basis of a single issue ... trash the conservative movement and set back the right to life movement twenty years.

If there was a charge for using FR I suppose I would pony up maybe $10 a year or so like I do for the service Weather Underground provides ($5 per year) for the news. I've never liked or agreed with the 'donation' policy. It's just not the capitalist way. I know many of you really believed in FR. You even give a dollar a day. For what?

Think about the next time you go to a rally. I know I certainly will not be marching again as we did at the Governors mansion back in the Sore Loserman days. Not when I know that half the people I'm marching with are the nastiest most hateful talibanesque people I could have ever met.

I used to sort of grudgingly admit to myself that I was a Republican. I sure wasn't a Rat. I couldn't stomach the Libertarians and their drugs. Now I will NEVER think of myself as a Republican. The GOP sullied itself beyond repair during this fiasco. To cater as they did to the Taliban (who immediately slandered them when they didn't go far enough) and participate in such a disgraceful spectacle .... brands them for the demagogues they are. I have no party ... I have no church ... I see no movement promising enlightenment and freedom in the land today.

Being an Evangelical Protestant who believes that God gives prophecy as a means to PROVE the truth of scripture ... I believe we are indeed in the End Times.

May I suggest that if you are going to respond to someone and make a case suggesting the superior attitude and intelligence of your own position, you might not want to resort to calling people names. It actually is hypocritical to complain about other posters self-righteousness and then go on to demean and demoralize them and their opinions.

Respect for other people's opinions and positions can do much to forward your own.
