I thought it was a good summary but it made me ticked off to a fairtheewell at our Congressmen all over again :-)
They are going to craft legislation that will intrude into things they have no business intruding into. And our right to self determination will be lessened as a result.
Modern medicine can keep a lot of people alive indefinitely. People who would probably prefer not to be kept alive. I've never yet met anyone who thinks living like Terri for 15 years is a GOOD thing.
I hope not. The GOP can read the tea leaves (I hope)and see there is not poular support for such legislation.
I've already told my congress critter to butt out...
