See my tag line. It makes about much sense as the Hitch Hikers Trilogy (All 5 books). It kind of sums up the hole thing, IMO. You'll love it.

What was it about?

Hmmm. Yes, it was interesting. What was it about? *fingers drumming on desk* Well, it started it with the planet earth getting an eviction notice because some alien culture was planning a construction project and the earth was going to be demolished to make room for said project. However, the notice was overlooked, although it had been properly posted according to the Regulations. The hero of the story, Arthur Dent, escapes the planet on an alien ship and embarks on a series of very odd adventures, and ends up at the Restaurant at the End of The Universe. Hitchhiker's Guide
