I agree...we are getting more and more conflicting reports from the Schindler family, and again, I think its just due to their rightly felt desperation, and their suffering...for truly they are suffering, I have no doubt of that...

Heres another thing...there seem to have been inferences, that because Terri has held on this long, without water, that this is some sort of 'miracle'...

Dont want to rain on any ones calling out of 'miracles', but even before the feeding tube was removed, the doctors, said, that she would probably last for between 1-2 weeks...it all depended on how good her hydration was previous to having the tube pulled, and how much energy she was exerting...it appears that previous to pulling the feeding tube, she was receiving adequate hydration, and as far as I can make out, her exertion, is very minimal...

So given those 'facts', its just medically a given, that she would last between 1-2 weeks...lasting 2 weeks is not a miracle in the sense that some would wish to believe...its just a medical variance, supported by the doctors...unless you care to just disbelieve the doctors...

But the Schindlers wanteded half the 300,000 Michael won in his settlement. He refused...they almost came to blows the Schindlers went to court to try and get him removed as Guardian of Terri. They thought they would get control of the 700,000 awarded Terri. It got nasty and has stayed that way for years now. The whole country is really just coming in at the end of the story. Those who live here have been disgusted by this entire family for years. Pinellas Park up to Haines Road Road seem to attract these kind of people.(local inside joke)

Wow! What a surprise... a long standing judge, (many of whom get incredibly full of themselves after serving for too many years), thinks that the two other branches of government don't undertand that the founding fathers wanted 'his' branch to be much more powerful than what both the Congress and the Executive think.

This is as much a story as "Sun came up".

Just the facts in the current situation and as I think was crystal clear, my observatin re Felos focused on the description of Terri Schiavo after the feeding tube was removed.

I also found it creepy, what Felos said...I just have to tell myself, that the truth of how Terri looks, and how Terri is acting, probably lies somewhere in between what the Schindlers say and what Felos says...

I'm for seeing both sides - Michael and the parents as human. I'm not for putting either side on a pedestal.

I heard that they initally expected a very large settlement sum, in the 14 million range. And all parties agreed that a special home would be built where the Schindlers and Schiavo could live to care for Terri. But, the settlement was much smaller, and Michael assumed the money would remain his. War ensued. And here we are.

The Congressional Republicans have been so badly burned by this episode that they'll never again try to usurp state authority.
