I believe that we are witnessing the destruction of all credibility of the Christian community in the political arena. The damage from this will take decades to repair, IF it can be repaired.
For the first time in my nearly 5 years here, I was considering just leaving FR for good. I thought it had been hijacked by people with emotionally overwrought, irrational , hysterical rantings. I'm glad I found my way to this thread. Some sanity at last.
I just can't emphasize how much damage the conservative/religious right is inflicting on itself. The liberals must be beaming with joy at the sight of it all.
