Ella, you really do need to be careful drinking that much tea. I drink decaf hot tea and cold tea only and no soda (just because I don't like it).
And if you find it difficult cutting back or switching to decaf, eat a banana or two a day to increase your potassium level. This can be a very serious problem and thankfully our doctor knew that people moving from the north to the south didn't understand how the southern heat increased these potential problems and lectured us :-)
I drink lots of water, too, but I'll switch my tea to decaf and eat a banana daily. :)
