It's obvious that the martyrdom of Terri Schiavo is a satanic ritual. It's supposed to culminate tomorrow, day Jesus Christ died.

Pat told me that he wasn't trying to convince the unconvinceables, he was trying to make it clear that FR, and by extension the conservative movement, was NOT completely made up of people who reject science or scientific inquiry, or of people who were "deliberately ignorant".
Thus, he keeps on, taking the slings, arrows, mudgobbing, deadcatting, and outright foolishness that is the province of the fanatic. In the process, the lurkers and HONEST questioners learn not only facts and science, but the broader fact that the RIght is NOT soley the province of zealots.
This thread, and others we might start, can have that same effect, ESPECIALLY if we do the same with OTHER highly-charged issues that get hijacked as this one has been.
Put simply, we cannot allow the Pitchforkers to speak as if for ALL of us. As I have said previously, there is room on the Right for opinions that the RR's don't like. Unless we express them, the image will be left that the Right is an exclusive club of intolerant lunatics, fo rwant of a better term.

The Pope has spoken but not issued an encyclical. The fact is that Catholic hospitals across the fruited plain (and around the world) have followed the procedure that is being done with Terri Schiavo and they are evaluating procedure in light of the Pope's recent comments but his words have not become the "formal position" of the Catholic Church.
People are blinded by their ideology. There will be no changing hearts and minds. Many showing liberal tendenacies, fail to research facts, isn't that the hallmark of liberalism, the emotional aspect? Those on one side will not change, those on the other are more open minded and are willing to read and discuss facts. How can you reason with holy rollers? I'm old enough to know, it's impossible.

That is a really stupid post. We aren't talking about breaking a simple law like jaywalking. It is a much bigger deal than that.
Jeb has done the right thing.
