Perhaps now you understand why I get angry.

Not only is it concise, but I've been consistently arguing the same point for nearly five years, yet on this thread, someone questions whether I support Arizona's proposition 200 when in fact, much of what I consider to be a solution for the problem of illegal immigration is part of Prop. 200, and I wrote that editorial at least a year before the Prop. 200 movement got under way!

The problem with your "ants" ---- when impoverished illiterate Mexicans come to the USA --- we're not like Mexico where we like seeing families sitting and begging with their children. Go to any Mexican city and you'll see 13 year old girls with their children and infants begging on the streets. You see 7 and 8 year old children abandoned by their parents to the streets.

Cut off the welfare --- they're still going to move in to do the begging that Americans don't want to do --- we still end up looking like the slums of Mexico City. The country of Mexico has very huge social problems ---- of it's own making. It's not up to us to be their happy dumping ground. They must change.
