Not very bright sometimes, are they. Sometimes I think they pass legislation just to be seen doing something. Anything. Who cares how legitamate or even LEGAL by their Constitutional mandate.

Bingo! A couple years back I wrote a legislator to tell him how his bill would accomplish the exact opposite of what he intended. I got a nice handwritten note back... and he killed his bill in his own committee.
