I have one on an album by steeleye span, I think, or Pentangle, and another in a collection of sea shanties called Away you Santee...one version is a little nicer than the other...the guy just gets told to bugger off in one version, instead of rolled...
Yup, rings a bell. Kingston Trio could really sing. Other stuff was in my college library, along with a full Ring of the Nibelung and libretto in translation.
