Who wouldn't be ready for Hawaii.
Great place to visit for a week or two, but way too slow a place to live.
California is still the best, with all due respect to the other states.
I'm still waiting for the lei.
What good is melody, what good is music
If it ain't possessin' something sweet
It ain't the melody, it ain't the music
There's something else that makes the tune complete
It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing
It don't mean a thing, all you got to do is sing
It makes no diff'rence if it's sweet or hot
Just give that rhythm ev'rything you got
It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing
I visited the farm that supplied most of the leis for Hawaii. A friend knew them. They cooked for our group outside and their kid who was 11 DROVE us around the farm. LOL
They and may other farms and businesses are Japanese.
That's cool. I've never been to Hawaii before.
It's common for kids to drive trucks around the farms here in IL.
A few birthdays to observe before we get there.
You do seem to fit in, somehow.
Awww...Thank you, DC! *hugs*
Yep...a couple of birthdays are coming up fast. :-)
Least I could do... ;-)
Morning Star
One breath away from everything she's always known
Morning Star
With one last kiss she left the world alone tonight
And in her eyes, I saw the lust to kill again
Amd in her touch, I knew just how it all would end...
Anyone of any age can drive vehicles on private property for the most part I think.
Farms are legendary for having their children drive when still very young.
The other option I guess would be horses.
You can get round trip tickets to Hawaii for $400 at times in Chicago if you keep an eye out and buy in advance.
Being you are going to check out the island or islands, the accommodations need not be fancy.
I stayed on a condo next to a golf course on the beach, but it wasn't appreciated because of always being gone.
Honeymooners would have appreciated those accommodations more, but a clean a Holiday Inn type place will do OK if you visit some time for a vacation.
Unfortunately, it will be a while before I have the time or money to go on a trip to Hawaii. :-(
Well, going there or to a place like Jamaica can be done on a small budget and you can have lots of fun.
There are occasional trips to NY from California for a $99 round trip. Usually those are offered around winter.
Vegas is a good place to go as well.
You can get tickets round trip from your place to their for under $200 round trips if you look.
Hotels for near a weak can be had in a clean place for as cheap as $25 a night or less.
There are round trip tickets to parts of Europe for less than $500 a ticket round trip if you look as well.
Then, you can get tickets to Oprah for free. Just get on a show where she is giving away good stuff.
I'm sorry. I just can't imagine horses driving trucks around a farm.
I have trouble enough figuring out how they can button their blankets on in the Winter.
(It's getting late, folks. Good Night, All!)
Good night, M'Lord.
Quit horsing around and have a nice night.
LOL! It's pretty close. ;-)
