The ugly truth is God doesn't compartMENTALIZE sin. The ensuing behavior (sin) is generated from the HEART of the person. God has no toleration for sin so you know the story ... He sent His Son to take on our punishment ... . It really isn't so that He doesn't hate the sinner. It is our job to do the best we can and with belief/faith our punishment was handled by Christ but it really isn't true that God separates the behavior of the person from the sin. The behavior reflects what is in the persons heart. When a person makes NO effort to stop the behavior He then gives them up. He has his limits to in waiting for someone to turn around.
