Other than annual floods of the Nile, Egyptian history seems to have completely missed Noah's Flood. I guess they were just lucky, being located at such a high elevation ... It was the First Amphibious Period, after the end of the Old Dry Kingdom and preceding the Sopping Wet Period. There are few well-preserved papyruses from the time because ink doesn't dry underwater.
