Seems as if Joe Dumars is the ONLY person who believes the PLAYERS should be above the FRAY and that going into the stands was WRONG. Everyone else think the PLAYERS were justified and had no other CHOICE but to enter the stands. The ESPN crew even said that ONCE a fan enters the court they are fair game and DESERVE what they got. I guess that doesn't hold true for the PLAYERS when they enter the stands however!!
It will be very interesting to see how this plays out. The sad truth is that the FANS emulate the PLAYERS and they deserve each other.
If someone charged into my cubicle at work, drenched me with beer and proceeded to pick up a chair and throw it at my head I might find it hard to remain above the fray.
