I'm all about running Arlen through the obstacle course as much as possible - I still wouldn't trust him even if he says all the right things because he needs to prove his loyalty to Bush. Considering what he said right after the election, some leaders in history would have had Specter killed on the spot! And I agree with those who predict backlash against certain Senators who might trust him - loyalties are owed first and foremost to the Republican Party, and that party right now is the party of George W. Bush.
I suggest that everybody on the right side of the aisle get that message real quick - everybody, including Snow, Chafee and the other lukewarm Bush supportin' RINOs.
