Okay!!!! It's 3pm here but what the heck. Forget that I'm in my office also. I get to stay home again tomorrow. I have boxes of apples that I am drying and they need to be done NOW!! That's what I've been doing. I'm going to make a couple of pies and a couple of apple crisps but the rest will be dried. They are just wonderful dried.!!
Don Evans made overtures before the election so I'm not surprised. I am, however, disappointed about Ashcroft. I know he was a lightening rod but thought he took it all in stride. Whoever gets the other side worked up is ace in my book.
Yes, John Ashcroft said a couple of months ago that he was leaving. He sure has taken a lot of heat but he's a really good man. Just like your President.
Kinda icky, eh?
Both are good men. This is puzzling.
More to the topic of this thread, Fox just said the juror was let go because she was doing independent investigation on her own.
No doubt!! Sickening really.
It's OK tho, we've been banished to the Backroom :~)
sw
Who was Juror #7. Is he/she the one that looked at Scott as they were entering?
Wow, we have, haven't we. I didn't even notice. I guess that means we don't have to behave any more. ;)
Let's face it MS. This woman was looking for excuses and she more than telegraphed that she was a hard head. Frankly, she should be treated as an outright DISHONEST woman who couldn't even be trusted to do her public duty. She's probably some immigrant that came to America and became a citizen and appreciates NONE of the blessings from that. In fact she just p*s*ed on the Constitution!!
(smile) I never thought I'd be in the backroom with you again!
Was juror #7 possibly the one who was needing surgery?
She's the Asian woman Spunky who should have NEVER made it onto the Jury in the first place.
A source told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity that she had apparently disobeyed the judge's orders to consider only the evidence presented at the trial.
The juror who was sent home was said to have been emotionless during testimony and seemed very responsive to defense lawyer Mark Geragos, FOX has learned. She reportedly said she could believe Peterson was falsely accused, sources told FOX.
Here's the link
What I've just learned is that the five days of deliberation were for naught and they're now back to square one. That erases any possibility of a verdict this week.
Surely the jurors were told they couldn't do their own investigations--if she ignored that, I wonder what else she did? I hope she realizes she's just caused yet more pain for the Rochas, as the jury now has to start over from square one.
No Spunky, Juror #11 needs the surgery. She's a very PRO prosecution witness.
Justin Falconer is on with Dan Abrams now, saying this is good for the Defense.
WHO IS THIS MAN!!! He's still pimping for Scott.
sw
From the moment he started giving interviews, I've believed Falconer was a Scott Peterson wannabe. I swear, he idolizes him. Sickening.
She should be treated like a leper!! I don't want to see her face or her from her on anybody's show!!
She was the arrogant Asian Juror who said she wouldn't be swayed and didn't see a motive for something that heinous. Foxnews reported she favored the defense. Here's hoping her 15 minutes of fame does not stretch out as long as Justin's has although I suspect she's being called by LKL and Greta as we speak.
