I heard about this nifty invention. It;s called sonar. It turns out that you can actually detect things floating on water. I know this is a super recent breakthrough and so you might not be up on it. But I figure that could probably be pretty useful in detecting floating smugglers.

Gosh. I didn't know I was in the presence of someone that knows about Sonar. Golly.

In all my years in the USCG patrolling off the west coast of the US I've SIMPLY NEVER HEARD OF SONAR. DAMN. I Guess I'll just leave the rest of this discussion to you, since you are the expert.

Actually Sonar is for submerged objects. RADAR for is for surface objects.
