A 24-foot-long ''Go Bush" banner hanging on a pizza shop across from the FleetCenter has drawn plenty of attention amid preparations for the Democratic National Convention this week. But yesterday, a city inspector stopped by and slapped Halftime Pizza with a citation for hanging an unlicensed banner.

Let me get this right, so I understand how the forum works these days.

If we find something we don't like, we simply keep on pushing the abuse button until we find a Mod that agrees with us, and the offense is handled, there was one Mod on earlier who left the graphic untouched, and warned tallhappy to "knock it off", a warning that went completely unheeded.

So, it appears that the way to get things done around here is to go Mod shopping, sort of like when liberals go Judge shopping, which is what this individual has been doing for the past several hours. Along the way, she's thrown numerous personal attacks at me, called me names, and done so with complete impunity. Interestingly enough, the Bald Eagle (another American symbol) shooting a bird seems to be OK with tallhappy, as did the post where the identical Uncle Sam is giving the identical finger to terrorists.

The problem was never the graphic, but rather how the complaining FReeper feels about me.

Is that how things work around here these days?

In that case, then you must be a publicity whore, because you commented on how publicity whores behave, and you must be a low-life hypocrite, because you commented on how low-life hypocrites behave, and you must be a corrupt Boston official because you commented on how corrupt Boston officials behave, and you must be a part of "Clinton's America and their devalued morals and decorum" because you commented on how they behave, and you must be Uncle Sam because you commented on how he would behave.

What you haven't done, is shown one friggin' iota of support for the man who is risking his business to do what you lack the cojones to do!

The point is that I did not depict Uncle Sam "so revoltingly", US soldiers did...and if it's good enough for the men and women that keep me free, then it's good enough for me!

Tallhappy, I am in agreement with you about Luis's picture of Uncle Sam. However, I don't think he indicates in post #122 that he is a soldier.

And Luis, you could have given her a straight forward yes or no answer instead of playing your silly games.
